My name is Jack Connors. I am from Genoa, Illinois and I graduated from Barrington High school in 2019.
I am now a senior at UD this year and my major is exercise science. The biggest challenge life has given
me is losing my mother when I was 18 while I was in my first semester of college. It was hard enough trying to adapt to college and to lose the most important thing in my life was very hard for me to recover from, but I leaned on my teammates and learned from my experience. Another form of therapy for me was lifting and playing football because I would feel all my other problems go away and it was just time for me to do the things I love. The University of Dubuque football program has helped me grow through the relationships and connections I have developed since my freshman year. Looking back at the past four years I have been here I have a lot of great memories and I have made lifelong friends here at Dubuque.
