My name is Lovell Armstead “a.k.a BigBet”. I am from Far Rockaway, New York. I attended Chancellor High School where I obtained my accolades for football and helping out in the community. I then transferred to Stafford high school seeking a better opportunity for my future. I also attained several awards for football from Stafford high-school and the city of Fredericksburg in 2018. I received a scholarship to attend St. Francis University to further my education and play the game I love. I then found out it’s a lot that goes into being a collegian athlete and as I ascend for my career in football at university of Dubuque I would love to continue helping in the community and growing as a man. My major in school is criminal justice and my position in football is Running Back. Football is very significant and vital for my life. It helps me mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Football is my life. Football is my expertise and my passion. It elevates me from being addled. It keeps my mind focused on decisiveness. Especially now that I’m going through so many unfortunate events due to my father’s incarceration that are very dire to my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual being. Football helps me negate through it all. It perpetuates me to ascend no matter the obstacles. I don’t know what I would do without football since it means everything to me. I’m grateful to get the opportunity to play football and I will do my best at all times to win and utilize my expertise daily.
