My name is Ruben Karapetyan and I’m a sophomore at University of Dubuque. My major is Human Health Science and I plan on being a physical therapist after I graduate. My family is from Armenia and I go train there over the summers. I wrestle Greco Roman outside of the season and plan on qualifying for the world team this year. I came to University of Dubuque because I was blown away by how hard working everyone was and the amount of support the coach’s provided to all members of the team. The strong morals the coach’s and the wrestlers had was also very visible. This is very important to me because I believe that support, hard work, and strong morals is what helps create strong wrestlers, and good human beings. I am able to take charge of my mental health through my faith in God and by helping people that need help. I try to always keep a positive outlook on life and always look at the bright side of things.
