I’m from Brighton, Michigan, and attended Brighton High School. I’m currently a junior at the University of Dubuque and an aviation major. I plan on going into the airlines and National Guard after I graduate. I play lacrosse as a defenseman at the University of Dubuque.
My focus on physical health has helped me immensely throughout my daily life. Focusing on my physical health directly correlates to my ability to handle the workload of my academics and sports. Along with strengthening my faith, relationships, and ability to lead. When I’m playing lacrosse or working out, it allows me to put all my stress and concerns aside and acts as a positive outlet for me.
Working on my physical health also allows me to stick to a strict schedule. Trying to juggle school, sports, workouts, bible study, flying, and spending time with friends and family can be challenging. By setting a schedule that includes all of these, I can complete what I need to do each day.
Here are some of my accomplishments on and off the lacrosse field. I was the only Sophomore captain for the men’s lacrosse team this past season. I am honored to be selected to be a captain again this year. I’ve been on the Dean’s List all 4 semesters of school. I was an All-Academic 2 years in a row and was also a CSC Academic All-District At-Large selection. I have an NCAA National Record throughout all divisions for most caused turnovers in a season. I’m also a 2-time All-American, 2-time Defensive Player of the Year and 2-time All-Region Player. I hold many school records in lacrosse and this past year was honored with Male Newcomer of the Year.
