I am a member of NSLS (National Society of Leadership and Success). I am proud to be an athlete on the University of Dubuque’s first ever women’s wrestling team. I take great pride in my physical and mental health. Being able to take care of both my mind and body has guided my success on and off of the mat. I believe it is my purpose to share the lessons I have encountered with individuals all over the world. Being able to appropriately navigate your mental and physical health is imperative for the wellbeing of every individual’s success. Mental and physical health is not just taking care of your mind and body, it is caring about your life. It is caring about others and being someone that others are proud to know. It is speaking up for those that cannot do the same for themselves and doing the right thing when no one is watching. It is growing, developing, learning, failing, and succeeding. Mental and Physical health is becoming the best version of myself that I can for myself and for others. I am grateful to be at the University of Dubuque and I appreciate the opportunity to share my thoughts and values for the wellbeing of others.
